This new 3COM US Robotics Sportster Model 5687 Fax Data 56K Video ISA Modem, FCC Reg. No: H8NTAI-32590-M5-E, comes in a box. It complies with the ITU V.90, V.80 Videoconferencing support and V.34 standards, has a TI, U.S. Robotics chipset and it is useful as is, or as a good source of parts for design and experimentation. It has Multilink Support (more than one modem is useable), autodetect for Fax or Modem calls, supports Group III Fax, and has two RJ-11C telephone connectors. This card is software upgradeable, comes with a CDROM Software Collections, a telephone cord and a User's Guide. It allows free internet telephoning, but requires older motherboards like this Intel or this Biostar motherboard with onboard ISA sockets. The newer motherboards don't have the ISA sockets to plug in this board! First come first serve only one available!
