This is a classic, High Fidelity (Hi-Fi), Radio Shack Model 12-1999 stereo cassette tape player accessory. Usually these units are made to allow injection of audio signal into a car stereo system. It has wide enough frequency response for that purpose. The automobile cassette player head makes contact with the one similar head inside this adapter, thus they form a transformer. This quality made stereo cassette adapter unit allows easy transferring of audio into the car's amplifier system in both direction. This unit is unused in excellent working condition.
