Multimeter DMM AC DC Volt Amps Ohms Solid State Digital Precision Heathkit IM-1202

A rare nostalgia item this genuine Heathkit IM-1202 DMM (Digital Multimeter Volt Ohm Current Meter). It uses Nixie tubes for a diplay, is lightly used, whole, excellent physicial shape but presently in a nonworking condition. The heavy gage all aluminum case, robust design and dependable solid state circuitry makes this instrument practically indestructible. It is desirable for many electrical or electronic measurement to have a high input impedance instrument available. This IM-1202 VOM has all the benefits of an old fashined VTVM (Vacuum Tube Volt Meter) without the vacuum tubes. Without the tubes the meter is smaller, safer (no high voltage), has much higher efficiency and longer life. Made by the once well known - but self destructed by greed - Heath Company, at least thirty years ago. This is a real hard to find vintage collector's choice instrument.
