Meter VOM Solid State Large Analog Precision Mechanical Movement Heathkit M-28 Info

A rare nostalgia item this genuine Heathkit M-28 VOM (Volt Ohm Meter). It is lightly used but it is in excellent working condition. The heavy gage all aluminum case, robust design and dependable solid state circuitry makes this instrument practically indestructible. It is desirable for many measurement to have an analog instrument available. This M-28 VOM has all the benefits of an old fashined VTVM (Vacuum Tube Volt Meter) without the vacuum tubes. Without the vacuum tubes the meter is smaller, safer (no high voltage), has much higher efficiency and longer life. Made by the once well known self destructed Heath Company, many years ago.
