Matshushita MMI-6A6MK3 Motor DC Shielded Miniature PM Audio Player Replacement

This is a nicely made, precision, miniature, shielded, Permanent Magnet (PM) DC motor with bronze bearings and a plastic pulley. The motor starts to rotate at 2.5 Volt. Load current is about 20-30 mA (milliamperes). It runs quiet with very low power and rotates in a CW (Counter Clockwise) direction. This motor drives many loads smoothly and with a small PM or stepping motor and a rubber band as a belt it would make a classy but simple precision, low distortion, pure sine-wave generator, a power generator with a small windmill or some other great science project.
