Nihon NMM 1185A Motor DC PM Perma Magnet Bronze Bearings Miniature Precision

This is an excellent, high quality, Japanese made precision Permanent Magnet [PM] DC motor in a sturdy metal housing with a dual heavy-duty bronze bearings. This fully shileded miniature motor starts to rotate CW [Clock Wise] at around 1 Volt. Load current is about 20-40 mA [milliAmperes]. It runs super quiet with very low power. This motor can drive many loads smoothly and with a small PM or stepping motor and a rubber band as a belt it would make a classy but simple precision, low distortion sine-wave generator, a nice power generator with a small windmill or some other great science project.
