This is a well made, precision Sankyo low Voltage DC motor BFJ9B01D with pulley and shock mounts. Additional number on motor body: 30810-C. The 2 millimeter diameter shaft has an attached brass pulley. The shielded wire terminal motor begins to rotate at 1.5 Volt. No load current is about 20-50 milliAmperes. This high efficiency motor has many potential applications. This motor drives many loads smoothly and with a small PM or stepping motor and a rubber band as a belt it would make a classy but simple precision, low distortion sine-wave generator, a nice generator with a small windmill or some other great science project.
