This is a nicely made, precision, shielded, miniature, Permanent Magnet [PM], low voltage DC motor with a brass pulley and bronze bearings. The motor starts to rotate at 1 Volt. Load current is about 15-30 mA [milliAmperes]. It runs smooth and quiet with very low power. This motor can drive many loads smoothly and with a small PM or stepping motor and a rubber band as a belt it would make a classy but simple precision, low distortion sine-wave generator, a nice generator with a small windmill or some other great science or show-and-tell project.
