Mabuchi RF-500TB-14415 Motor DC PM DCP-C265 Sony 5 DC Carousel 1-647-363-12 Assy

This is a well made precision Sony assembly with a Mabuchi PM [Perma Magnet] DC [Direct Current] motor RF-500TB-14415 with an attached PC Board. Motor has additional numbers on its body: PD 82 4Y 25. Motor start to rotate: 1.5 VDC no load. The 2 millimeter diameter shaft is nine millimeter long, it has a cog belt pulley and it is highly polished. The motor is used in the Sony DCP-C265 5DC Carousel as a carousel driver. As usual with Sony, this assembly is very good quality. This motor drives many loads smoothly and with a small PM or stepping motor and a rubber band as a belt it would make a classy but simple precision, low distortion sine-wave generator, a nice generator with a small windmill or some other great science project.
