Yaskawa Minertia UGJMEE-02SOD12 Motor PM DC Absolute Rotary Encoder High Torque

This is a precision, quality, high power, high torque, PM [Permanent Magnet] DC motor with a built in rotary absolute encoder and a DC power line filter and connector terminal. Motor is made by Yaskawa Electric in Japan. The nine and a half millimeter diameter shaft is forty millimeters long. Motor starts to rotate at around 3.0 Volt. Load current is about 0.2 Amperes. This low RPM motor drives many loads under total computer control smoothly and with a small PM or stepping motor and a rubber band as a belt it would make a classy but simple precision, low distortion sine-wave generator, a nice generator with a small windmill or some other great science project.
