Sony DCR-TRV250 Digital8 Video Camera Recorder Handycam NTSC Camcorder Reference

This is one of the last Sony Digital8 8 MM NTSC camcorder. Although this Sony DCR-TRV250 D8 camcorder is not sold for years and becoming rare even in used condition, it still has amazing capabilities. It is a high resolution color camera with super fine optical features, variable speed power zoom with macro. It tags each frame with the hour, minute second and the frame number and it is easy and fun to operate. It uses inexpensive, standard 8mm (millimeter) Hi8 or Digital8 tape cartridges and InfoLITHIUM batteries for power source.

Whether for use, nostalgia or as a parts source, this classy video camera is an affordable nice item to have. The camcorder has a 700x digital and a 20x optical zoom an f=2.50-50mm, 1:1.16, 37 mm dia lens. Because its 0 Lux low lite capabilities with it's incredible optics and zoom it makes a terrific, sensitive surveillance camera. The camcorder has a video output jack, an S connector and it can be used with another recorder as a remote controlled home security device, or for any other special recording purpose.
