These are some rare find of genuine Faircield made factory new, 2N3640 silicon P-N_P Transistors in a covar TO-92 Package and have gold plated wire leads. These unused vintage units made in the seventies. These transistors are made for High Speed Switch and Small Signal industrial and commercial applications. They are Planar construction for low noise and leakage and have low saturation voltage. They have a VCE=12 V, capable to handle a 0.08 Ampere continuous collector current, a unity Gain Bandwidth product FTmin=500 MHz and they have a 0.2 Watts maximum power dissipation and a minimum DC beta of 30 with a collector current of 10 mA.
