This IBM Model 71 Selectric electro-mechanical letter quality office typewriter was and is the traditional gold standard when it comes to office correspondence. It relieves the typist from applying excessive force to the keys (as required with regular mechanical typewriters) as the type element is always hitting the paper with regulated and proportional velocity.

This machine comes with a Courier 12 typeface, and two other free typefaces, chosen by the purchaser. Additional Type Elements are also available. Since this typewriter almost completely made of metal, it requires a fair proportion of it's price for shipping. If anyone wishes to pick it up, the shipping can be saved. Walk-in price is $80.
