This is an original, discontinued Sylvania 12AD6 Electronic Space Charge Tube. These miniature, lightweight, portable, compact, tubes were developed to work with the automobile 12 Volt battery as anode supply. Typically used as mixer oscillators in battery operated receivers. An antique, collector's special pentagrid converter vacuum tube. Excellent for those antique radio restoration projects or to set up a private vacuum tube museum. It is a NOS tube - new old stock, unused, boxed, and kept for all these years in mint condition.
