This is an original sturdy CRC 1616 Half-Wave Vacuum Rectifier made. It has a four contact socket with an anode. This tube was made for U.S. Navy contract NX4744 in 1943. It is collector's special vacuum tube. Developed to use for power suppy applications in transmitting for military and industial equipment.

The CRC 1515 has a high power coated filament strong emitter. This tube uses 2.5 Vac, 5 A, 12.5 Watts of power just for keep the filament going. Excellent for those amature and ham radio special projects or to set up a private vacuum tube museum. This Navy surplus is unused and kept for all these years with it's original packaging matrial in good condition. First come first serve, as only one available!
